TRAVEL ITINERARY

Day 1: Indianapolis / New York City
Super Shuttle or a private van will transfer you from any of the three NY area airports to your hotel, depending on the number of guests in your party. Your accommodations, the 4 star Millennium Broadway Hotel, is located in Midtown Manhattan in Times Square. You will be in walking distance to all of the Broadway shows, Rockefeller Center, a variety of restaurants and famous sites. Once at the hotel, you will be greeted by your local New York City guide and escorted on a walking and orientation tour of your area, Times Square, the Crossroads of the World which bustles 24 hours a day. Then it’s on to Rockefeller Center. John D. Rockefeller Junior’s resolution to make Rockefeller Center contemporary and innovative can be felt with every artwork and attraction you will see. Atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza is the fantastic outdoor observation deck, Top of the Rock. 70 floors above Rockefeller Center affords you magnificent views of all of New York City, the Empire State Building, Hudson River, Central Park, East River, New Jersey, the 5 boroughs and more. We end this tour strolling along Fifth Avenue past Bergdorf Goodman, Saks and Tiffany’s. Dinner tonight is at Carmine’s, a fun, delicious Italian restaurant in Times Square. Arrive hungry! Millennium Broadway Hotel, NY, NY (D)

Day 2: Tour Manhattan / Broadway Show
After breakfast in the hotel restaurant, you begin a full-day tour of Manhattan. Your guide will take you (by subway or coach depending on the number of guests) to Lower Manhattan for this morning. The Tribute Museum at Ground Zero offers visitors to the World Trade Center site a "Person to Person History," linking visitors who want to understand and appreciate these historic events with those who experienced them. After the tour of the museum, your guide will walk you around the site and to the viewing area giving you details on the history and the future of this sacred site. St. Paul’s Chapel is next, an inspirational and integral part of the recovery in the days following the September attack. Afterwards it’s on to Wall Street, The Canyon of Heroes and the Vietnam Memorial before you enjoy lunch at the South Street Seaport. This is a wonderful spot on the East River overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights. When you walk about Chinatown, you can easily forget you are in NYC or even the US. The color, the signs, and people are all exotic but the shopping is what many tourists want. There will be time to find some inexpensive Gucci’s and Rolexes! Greenwich Village, this small area below 14th Street and west of Broadway, has been a Mecca to the creative, rebellious and Bohemian for over 100 years. Your guide will detail the famous and infamous events and personalities that haunt Greenwich Village while you stroll down Bleeker Street to Rocco’s Bakery. Here you will be treated to coffee and pastry while soaking in the local color. Tonight it’s the Great White Way or better known as Broadway. Orchestra seating to a show has been reserved for you. You will be able to walk to a dinner (on your own) and then to the theater for a one-of-kind, only in New York experience. Millennium Broadway Hotel, NY, NY (B)

Day 3: Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island / Free Time
After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will escort you to the Statue of Liberty. At Battery Park, you will board the ferry to Liberty Island, then onto Ellis Island. See the skyscrapers of Manhattan on one side, Lady Liberty on the other with New York Harbor surrounding you. Liberty Island is the first stop. Feel her majesty and understand why she became the symbol of hope for so many. The second stop will be at Ellis Island, The Island of Tears. The self-guided tour details the hope and sadness that millions experienced as they passed through to a better life while many were denied their dreams. Once back on Manhattan Island, the afternoon is your time to discover that one place you’ve always wanted to visit. Use your guide’s expertise to help plan your afternoon. (If you've already been to Liberty Island and Ellis Island, you can extend your free time options.) The View is an aptly named restaurant sitting 47 floors above Times Square, while it revolves 360 degrees during dinner. You will be finished with dinner in time for you to attend another show or find a jazz club in “the city that never sleeps”. Millennium Broadway Hotel, NY, NY(B,D)
